Metal Binder Jetting
For complex parts without tooling investment and reduced production times
In collaboration with our partner Höganäs, we have chosen the Metal Binder Jetting process with Digital Metal DM-2500 equipment.
This involves selective deposition of a liquid resin on a 42µ thick powder bed.
The manufacturing process
Powder + Binder >>> Printing >>> Curing >>> Cleaning (the powder will be recycled) >>> Debinding >>> Sintering
This process gives you great freedom in the design of parts with highly complex shapes.
This technology allows great flexibility in the design of parts, and saves time in the development of your projects, with production of single prototypes or small series (5,000 parts per year) without investment in tooling.
It’s an excellent way of validating your studies before launching MIM tooling, or validating complex designs before choosing a manufacturing method.
